Changing Hearts, Transforming Lives, Impacting the World

Kairos Prison Ministry International is an international, ecumenical, very diverse volunteer organization rooted in the Christian faith whose ministry is Changing Hearts, Transforming Lives, Impacting the World through God's radical love.

Kairos programs in Illinois are overseen by the State Chapter Committee, whose chair is John Morici.

The volunteers who serve at each prison or program are organized into prison-level "Advisory Councils." The contact persons for each Advisory Council are listed on its page, which you can access through Where We Serve.

If God is tugging at your heart to get involved with Kairos ministry, as a team member or as a prayer partner or financial partner, please contact the Advisory Council near your home, or near the prison or program with which you would like to connect.

The mission of the Kairos Prison Ministry is to share the transforming love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ to impact the hearts and lives of incarcerated men, women and youth, as well as their families, to become loving and productive citizens of their communities.

Our Vision: A community
